Marissa has always believed that a different kind of world is possible, and sees her work as part of a much longer arc of social and ecological evolution.

She earned her degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied Social Ecology and Public Health, and later continued her education in Social Innovation Design through the University of Pennsylvania’s Executive Program.

Her career has centered on improving health and wellbeing through thoughtful program design, facilitation, and evaluation. Her approach is rooted in open communication, future-minded visioning, and values-aligned partnerships.
